2. Personal data we collect

  • Contact details: name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number and message.
  • Business information: company name, position, address, country, website, KvK or registration number, VAT number, business type, products of interest and estimated quantities.
  • Account and transaction information: username, billing and delivery details, booking requests, orders, invoices, payment status and customer-service correspondence.
  • Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device information, login activity, cookies and security logs.
  • Marketing preferences: subscription and communication choices when you actively opt in.

3. Why we use personal data

We use personal data to answer enquiries, review business-access applications, manage customer and agent accounts, prepare allocations and quotations, process orders and payments, arrange delivery, prevent fraud and misuse, secure the website, keep legally required records and improve our services.

Depending on the situation, processing is based on steps requested before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, or your consent.

Supplier applications: We use supplier contact details and personal data contained in submitted certificates, audit reports and other supporting documents for supplier assessment, quality control and traceability. Submitting a supplier application does not constitute consent to marketing. We retain these personal data only for as long as necessary for those purposes or to meet applicable legal retention obligations.

4. Payments and orders

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. BazarPlaza Trading does not store complete card numbers. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy terms. Order and invoice information may be retained where required for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention or legal purposes.

5. Who may receive your data?

We disclose personal data only where necessary to service providers supporting website hosting, WordPress and WooCommerce operations, forms and email delivery, payment processing, logistics and shipping, professional advice, security and fraud prevention. We may also disclose information where required by law or a competent authority. We do not sell personal data.

6. Cookies

The website uses essential cookies and storage for secure login, account sessions, shopping, booking requests, security and your privacy choices. Optional statistics are off until you choose to allow them. Existing statistics support visit-source attribution for orders. A reviewed OnlineChatCenters integration for account 26254 provides live visitor status on eligible public pages independently of the Statistics cookie preference. Its visitor-facing chat button, windows and automatic invitations are disabled. The provider receives connection information such as IP address and device information, page addresses without query parameters or fragments, and an origin-only referrer. This integration does not export website cookies or collect website form values, password lengths or form focus, and does not permit remote editing of website forms or cookies. Login, account, cart, checkout and payment routes are excluded. The provider uses its own chat-session storage. The integration has no visitor-facing chat form. Changing the Statistics preference does not stop this separate visitor-status connection. Session recording and automatic chat invitations are not enabled by this integration.

Use the Cookie settings button on any public page to accept, refuse, change or withdraw optional permissions. Statistics and session interaction recording have separate choices. Refusing optional permissions does not prevent public browsing or business registration. Your choice is saved in this browser for up to 180 days; clearing browser storage removes the saved choice. A new browser or device may ask again.

If session interaction recording is enabled in future, its purpose, service provider, retention and safeguards must be disclosed. Passwords, payment details and information typed into forms must be excluded. Location derived from a connection is approximate and may be unavailable. You can also restrict cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies may affect account or ordering functions.

When you submit a form, we may include the connection IP address, submission time, self-reported browser information and approximate country/city derived from the IP in the restricted internal notification for enquiry follow-up and fraud prevention. IP geolocation uses a local DB-IP City Lite database on our server; visitor IPs are not sent to DB-IP for individual lookups. The database is refreshed periodically. IP Geolocation by DB-IP, licensed under CC BY 4.0. VPNs, proxies and shared connections can make the location misleading. These technical signals do not verify identity, company legitimacy or physical location. Access is limited to authorised personnel and service providers supporting the forms and email system.

7. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain an active business relationship, to handle disputes and security matters, or to meet statutory accounting, tax and legal retention duties. Unsuccessful or inactive access applications and enquiries are periodically reviewed and removed when no longer necessary.

8. International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism or another safeguard required by applicable data-protection law.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

To exercise your rights, email info@bazarplaza.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

10. Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data. No online system can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The current policy remains available on this page.
